Alumni Award Nomination

The deadline for 2024-2025 nominations is October 30, 2024. If you would like to submit multiple nominations, please submit a form for each individual.

Award Descriptions

Alumni Achievement Award

  • Recognized as a leader in his/her chosen field of endeavor by demonstrating a high standard of performance over and beyond the normal expectations and realizing exceptional achievement in the field.
  • Actively involved in the affairs of his/her community, church, civic matters, etc.
  • Shown continued support for Barton College since graduation.

Alumni Service Award

  • Attended Barton College.
  • Consistent loyalty to the College.
  • Significant volunteer contributions to the Barton community.
  • Exceptional service to Barton College.
  • Shown continued support for Barton College since graduation.

Distinguished Alumni Award

  • A Barton graduate.
  • Shown continued support for Barton College since graduation and made significant contributions toward the advancement of its goals.
  • Distinguished him/herself as a well-known leader in his/her profession by being recognized for outstanding accomplishments.
  • Distinguished him/herself as a leader in the affairs of his/her community, church, civic matters, etc.

Gary W. Hall Employee Service Award

  • Must be a current or retired faculty or staff member of Barton College.
  • May or may not be an alumnus/a of the College.
  • Must exemplify service to the community through service to Barton College.
  • Distinguished him/herself as a leader or mentor to students.
  • Embodies the mission and vision of Barton College.

Honorary Alumni Award

  • A non-graduate of Barton.
  • Contributed significantly toward the advancement of Barton College goals by providing outstanding support and service over an extended period of time.

Outstanding Recent Graduate Award

  • A Barton graduate.
  • Must have graduated no more than 10 years prior.
  • Shown continued support for Barton College since graduation and made significant contributions toward the advancement of its goals.
  • Distinguished him/herself as a well-known leader in his/her profession by being recognized for outstanding accomplishments.
  • Distinguished him/herself as a leader in the affairs of his/her community, church, civic matters, etc.

Please note mailed materials must be postmarked by October 30, 2024 to be considered for the 2024-2025 awards.
