Fred Claridge ’84

I retired in December 2020 after a 41-year career in Emergency Medical Services (EMS). I worked as a paramedic in North Carolina and in California for many years, before becoming involved in EMS administration and teaching. Since retiring, I’ve been involved with a non-profit organization working to tell the story of EMS and I volunteer as a tour guide at the Bentonville Battlefield near Newton Grove. I’ve been married for nearly thirty years, have two grown children and one adorable baby granddaughter.
